Time to Fish

This lazy float, known to many locals as “Big Springs”, is a popular float. This sign always signified lunchtime for us. Another quarter mile down the river and it was time to pull over to the bank of the river and get the peanut butter sandwiches out of the cooler. There used to be a rope swing hanging from a nearby tree for those brave enough to go for a very cold swim, even mid-summer.
